About Keynsham Music Festival

Our Story

Welcome to the Keynsham Music Festival, a joyful celebration of music, arts, and community spirit in the heart of Somerset! We are proud to be one of the region’s largest and longest-running community music and art festivals, bringing people together for over two decades.

Founded in 1997 by passionate local music lovers and community members, our festival has grown from a small gathering in Keynsham Memorial Park into a week-long cultural highlight featuring performances from talented local artists to nationally recognized acts. Every summer, we transform the town into a vibrant stage, where music of all genres and artistic expressions thrive.

Our mission is simple: to create an inclusive, accessible, and unforgettable experience for everyone. Whether you’re a die-hard music fan, a curious first-time visitor, or a family looking for fun and entertainment, there’s something for you at Keynsham Music Festival. From rock and folk to jazz and classical, from comedy and theatre to children’s activities and workshops — we celebrate it all.

Driven by a dedicated team of volunteers and supported by local businesses, sponsors, and the Town Council, the festival remains a simple “please donate” to attend. We believe in fostering community connections, showcasing local talent, and promoting a sustainable, welcoming environment for all.

Join us in celebrating creativity, connection, and culture. Discover the real magic of Keynsham Music Festival — where music and art meet community!
