A one of kind festival project. Kaleidoscope is for young people BY young people. With a programme comprised entirely by The Youth Board, here you will experience the creative and capability of Keynsham’s young people.
The term Kaleidoscope was chosen to reflect the ever-changing landscape for young people and the challenges they face.
This years theme is Environment with a Spotlight on all things Frogs! Be sure to explore all the areas including The Forest Of Fairies, The Pond, The Swamp andThe Meadow. If you find your way to the Lillypad, you will enjoy all the amazing content below…

Kwabana Lindsay
Master Rope-Walking Violinist. A unique international performer, Kwabana Lindsay has performed all over the world. In true circus fashion, he suspends the audience’s disbelief with his incredible talents using slack-rope, fire, stilts, acrobatics, corde lisse, aerial skills, juggling, mime, music and comedy to create an unforgettable show.

Darryl J Carrington
Hello! I’m Darryl J. Carrington – a juggling clown with over two decades of experience making people laugh, wonder, and play. I trained at Circomedia School of Contemporary Circus and Physical Theatre and have since been creating, producing, and performing unique comedy juggling shows around the world!

Merlin Hula Hoops & Bubbles Workshop
Ms Merlin enters the stage in a suit as Diana, Woman of Mystery and then proceeds to spin and transform into the super-hero Wonder Woman. She strips off her dull office clothes, lets down her hair, straps on her boots and emerges as the classic, gorgeous DC comic super-heroine complete with infamous tiara. Throughout the transformation there is crazy hula hoop trick after crazy hula hoop trick with a fabulous finale of fifty hula-hoops.
