Panic Buying Pasta in the Face of the Apocalypse
An evening of poetry with
Mark Dando & Jo Eades

Mark is a Coach, a Trainer, and an Author. He's been performing poetry at events in Bristol and Bath since 2019. He writes about a wide range of themes including memory, grief, ice cream, supermarkets and why tall people always seem to stand in front of you at a concert. He has most fun performing pieces about stuff that annoys him – life, humans, himself. He's published 6 books on self-development topics such as well-being and resilience, time management, presentation skills and goal setting, and 2 children's books, written in rhyme, which he's performed at Savour previously. He hasn’t had any poetry collections published. He hasn’t won any slams. He’s not on Tik Tok and he doesn’t post on Facebook, Instagram or X. It’s a mystery what he does with his time really. Mark is joined by Jo Eades Jo performs regularly on the Bristol spoken word scene. In 2023, she performed on the Milk Poetry stage at Valleyfest and was selected as one of eight emerging poets from the South West to be part of Apple and Snakes Future Voices project. In 2024 she won both the Lyra Poetry Festival Grand Slam at St. Georges, Bristol, and the Hip Yak Poetry Shack Slam at WOMAD Festival and appeared alongside Kim Moore at Clifton Litfest. She has been featured four times on BBC Radio Bristol Upload.
