About Keynsham Music Festival
Keynsham Music Festival was founded in 1997 by the Town Council, local music lovers and community members with a shared vision: to create an inclusive festival that celebrates music, creativity and community.
Over the years, the festival has grown from a small local gathering into
a week‑long cultural celebration. Today, our programme includes music across many genres – rock, folk, jazz and classical – alongside comedy, children’s activities, workshops and the arts.
Keynsham Music Festival is a registered charity, guided by values of inclusion, accessibility and community participation. We operate on a “pay what you can” or voluntary donation model wherever possible, so that cost is never a barrier to enjoying our events.

Community and outreach
Community engagement is at the heart of what we do. Alongside the main festival, we support outreach projects, partnerships with local groups, and opportunities for young and emerging performers.
More than a summer festival
Keynsham Music Festival isn’t just about July. Throughout the year, we host and support smaller events, collaborations and community activities that keep live music and creativity thriving in and around Keynsham.
