Based from Radstock (a mining town between Bristol and Glastonbury, UK) Cult of the Velvet Rattlesnake are something unique - we take pop classics, strip them to the bone and reimagine them as the filthy, blistering, electric swamp blues, presenting something new yet familiar, recognisable but very much original.
Imagine if Lady Gaga or Billie Eilish drove a ten tonne juggernaut down to the crossroads to do whisky shots with The Black Keys, Beth Hart or Larkin Poe and you’d get our vibe: Melodies you’d recognise but twisted into a completely new and unique sound, all performed as an electrifying live showcase.
