After a stellar debut last year, Keynsham Music Festival’s dedicated showcase of youth talent returns. We were so impressed with the quality and diversity of the performances last year that we invited several of them back to perform on the Sunday main stages! With over 60 young performers this year, we are giving even more prominence to them by moving it to The Abbey Stage. This is definitely the place to see the next generation of superstars!

Eleanor Brennan is a Bristol based actress looking to get involved in theatre/film in the South West. Having trained at GSA as an Actor-Musician she writes comedy sketches and songs!

Bristol, UK. BACKDOWN are a 3-piece indie rock band, formed in the late 2023. Taking influence from bands such as Stereophonics and Daughtry, they bring their own raw energy, dynamic and thought-provoking lyrics; as seen in their 2025 debut single, ‘Dead To You’.

Elarbe is an 18 year old solo Singer/Songwriter/Rapper. She Specialises in R&B, Afrobeats, Storytelling rap, Pop and many more genres. Not only does she write and record her own music, she also performs covers from many artists including, Adele, Jorja Smith, Billie Eilish, Yebba, Bruno mars, Rihanna, Sam cooke, Tyla and many more. Elarbe uses her music as therapy for herself and her listeners. She uses her lyrics to spread messages about relevant topics and issues affecting society. Elarbe is Bristol Based and branches out to many other cities to perform for the public.

Emerging Bristol band - KODACHROME - combine Indie, Prog, Rock, Funk, Metal and Soul. A 'genre inclusive' approach to music that reflects the talents of their band members and encapsulates current listening approach - to the widest range of music - from today's audiences. This highly energetic group posses an extraordinary authority on stage. With a huge emphasis on putting on a show - of showcasing every single song as story. This makes them hugely different from bands around them - visual performance being highly important to them and a standout feature of their hugely exciting live shows. As well as headliners at major city venues in Bath and Bristol - the band are regulars at The Fleece and The Louisiana and just played a sell out show at the Thekla on Bristol's harbourside. They have played across the South West at Music Festivals such as Harbourfest, Solara, Exeter, Bath & West and as headliners at Keynsham twice now. Summer 2025 they will be performing again at Keynsham Festival, at Outcider Festival, Inglefest and on the main stage at Lakeside Festival. The band, who are studying for their A levels, have a growing, faithful fan base and their social media IG & Tik Tok accounts are hugely active. Fronted by teenage twins AVA and CONAN the band members include LULU, TARA, TYMON and HARRISON- all gifted young musicians and song writers. They fit in the writing, recording and release of their own songs whilst fitting in gigs around school. In another two years from now - who can say where they will be...

In true circus fashion, he suspends the audience’s disbelief with his incredible talents using slack-rope, fire, stilts, acrobatics, corde lisse, aerial skills, juggling, mime, music and comedy to create an unforgettable show.

Hello! I’m Darryl J. Carrington – a juggling clown with over two decades of experience making people laugh, wonder, and play. I trained at Circomedia School of Contemporary Circus and Physical Theatre and have since been creating, producing, and performing unique comedy juggling shows around the world!

Ms Merlin enters the stage in a suit as Diana, Woman of Mystery and then proceeds to spin and transform into the super-hero Wonder Woman. She strips off her dull office clothes, lets down her hair, straps on her boots and emerges as the classic, gorgeous DC comic super-heroine complete with infamous tiara. Throughout the transformation there is crazy hula hoop trick after crazy hula hoop trick with a fabulous finale of fifty hula-hoops.

It is very clear that there is a real need for youth theatre in Keynsham as our current cast list reflects. We have lowered our age range to include local youngsters aged 10­ – 17 to join us, whatever level of talent they have, and at affordable rates which is so important these days. One member said it has changed her life, she is so much happier and confident for being part of the whole experience. Phoenix can offer young people tuition outside of school giving them extraordinary theatre experience in acting, singing, dancing, back stage work and front of house, led by the very talented Director, Jo Meredith. Steve Drew is our Musical Director and Tracey English is our Choreographer.

M3G is a indie folk singer songwriter from Chippenham. Her music mixes authentic lyrics with soaring vocals. Recently supporting the likes of Jools Holland, Gaz Brookfield and The Lottery Winners. Described as, ‘Beautiful and Captivating’ by a local music magazine she brings a unique perspective and humour to the stage.

Hailing from a small village in south Gloucestershire, London based singer-songwriter Alex Comaish combines pop sensibilities with folk-punk energy. Armed with his trusty acoustic guitar and his looper, he bridges numerous disparate influences, from Sam Fender and Maisie Peters, to Frank Turner, The Smiths and KT Tunstall.

Among the clang of electric guitars Taynee Lord sits upon her vocal throne, producing a heady mix of anthemic hooks and commanding lyrics. Prepare yourself for high octane country twang as Taynee Lord gives you music for sunsets and highways from Bristol to Nashville. Taynee Lord founded her 5 piece band taking shape in Bristol in late 2018, recording their debut EP 'If Only' in January 2019. On release day the band’s first single ‘Blue Jeans’ featured on BBC Radio Bristol and ever since Taynee Lord has been a rising force amidst the burgeoning British Country Music Scene with her transmitting connection to the roots of Americana.

The students come to share their musical tastes and to enjoy making music with friends, as well as learning about musical performance, improvisation and composition. The Music Man Project Keynsham is fully inclusive and welcomes people of all abilities.

We are a friendly all-age choir engaged in a ministry of uplifting worship at St. John's. We lead sung worship at the weekly 9:15 communion service and monthly evensong service, as well as festival services. Choral highlights of the year include our Advent carol service and Festival of Lessons and Carols. We also put on occasional concerts and sing at local community events.

Show Choir is the country’s fastest growing a capella choir collective, with hundreds of members across multiple groups nationwide. Brought together by a passion for musicals and a cappella singing, our groups give anyone the chance to make beautiful music in an environment that’s supportive, fast-paced, and seriously good fun.

Keynsham Light Opera Group (KLOG) is a friendly, fun and inclusive theatre group, with a thriving membership of all ages and abilities residing in Keynsham, Saltford and the surrounding areas. Our talented performers and production teams, working with a dedicated stage crew behind the scenes, have helped the group stage countless award-winning productions, building a strong reputation for quality family entertainment for everyone to enjoy.

Key Voices Community Choir is a mixed choir with members from around Keynsham who meet on Monday evenings to have fun singing. As well as enjoying making great sounds together, we know that singing is good for us physically and mentally, so it is a great way to relax and leave the stresses of life behind for a while. We turn up with our unique voices, are met by familiar faces and receive expert coaching from our talented musical director. In addition to our weekly choir sessions, we perform at events throughout the year. Our Christmas concerts which include less-known arrangements of well-known carols, are especially popular. Otherwise, our repertoire ranges from Pop to Folk to Funk to Jazz. Our songs come from around the world, some collected on our doorstep, some written recently and others from the past six centuries.

Seriously, life’s too short not to do something you’ve always wanted to do. Singing in a choir is about the whole being greater than the sum of its parts. Or whatever. So if you can hold a tune, you’re in! Fancy a change? Looking for a new hobby? Recently moved to the area? Maybe the kids are a bit older now – or have flown the nest altogether. Or maybe you’ve retired and want to do something different. Whatever the reason, singing is a fantastic thing to have in your life! Once you start, you’ll wish you’d done it years ago!

Introducing a brand new community event! We are bringing six local choirs each with their individual repertoires for an afternoon of special performances, which will be followed by a giant singalong where everyone can join in! Take a seat at the Bandstand, sit back and enjoy an afternoon of pure heaven.

Baskervilles is a family-founded organisation where everyone in the family can get fit and have fun! Baskervilles is a not-for-profit organisation with all profits reinvested back into the business for the benefit of our members. Founded over 40 years ago by teachers Robin and Barbara Baskerville. Baskervilles employs over 60 full and part-time coaches with a wealth of experience in gymnastics. Robin and Barbara’s three children Emma, Vicky and Paul manage a team of professionals who provide a stimulating and educational environment for all ages and abilities. As well as our hub centre on Englishcombe Lane, Baskervilles run weekly gymnastic classes in a number of locations in and around Bath. We offer fun-filled pre-school, school-aged, freestyle and adult gymnastics and fitness classes.

Stuart Irish Dance ran by Rachael Stuart ADCRG offers Irish dancing lessons to both children and adults over Bristol and Somerset.

To be able to move with playfulness, strength and stability is at the core of what I do. Through Barre classes I hope to help in a fun, varied way to build this strength and Stability. Through Fusion belly dance we combine coordination and creativity for a great balanced exploration of body and mind.

The Keyford Dancing School is now in its 51st year under the ownership of Patricia Veale, previously known under the name of Keyford Ballet School and owned by Carol Iles. The name is derived from Keynsham and SaltFORD where the classes are held. Since 1973 thousands of boys and girls have enjoyed classes in ballet, tap, modern and jazz. Many past pupils are now bringing their children to the classes and some continue to dance themselves in adult ballet and tap classes. Boys and girls have in the past few years been able to take part in the Opera & Ballet International in their productions at the Bristol Hippodrome and the Theatre Royal Bath. Hundreds of children have also appeared in the Fry Club Pantomimes and other local productions including the school’s own shows at Broadlands School in which all pupils take part. Pupils have also appeared at Her Majesty Theatre London and in 2016 appeared at Disneyland Paris.

The Avon Dance Academy and the Chew Valley Dancing School aim to provide a friendly atmosphere for children of all ages to learn different types of dance. Providing goals to work for, as well as creating a real sense of achievement, the R.A.D. and I.S.T.D. dance examinations are internationally recognised and uphold a very high standard. All examinations entered at the schools are recognised by the qualification and curriculum authority, with the higher grades on a par with GCSE and A Level examination. Three sessions of modern, jazz and tap examinations and three sessions of ballet examinations are held each year, with children encouraged to take examinations when they reach the desired standard. Leading up to an examination, all candidates must attend two exam rehearsals and are offered extra classes to build up confidence.

I was born in Mumbai where every child grows up with the dream to become something bigger. There are many industry/ sectors where a person can work on and achieve his/her goals. Mumbai is a city of hopes and dreams and it gives a lot of opportunities to the talents to fulfill their dreams. One such industry is the Film industry in Mumbai which is also called as the Bollywood industry. I grew up watching too many Bollywood movies, Star shows, Award nights and I was too much amazed by their dance performances. As a child, I was always fond of seeing all different kind of dances, the styles, the beautiful dress and I always dreamt of performing such kind of professional dances in Bollywood movies. Being born to a Gujarati family, I was always keen on dancing in Navratri events, school events and cultural dance shows. I also used to watch Bollywood actresses performing in the movie and used to copy the steps and perform during my school days. I do also have an innovative mind wherein I invent some of my steps and teach other students in the school. Seeing my passion in dance, I received enormous support from my parents who always motivated me to perform dance at various stages of my life. I received extended support from my college professors and friends to bring my dancing skills to a bigger picture by performing on college events, inter-college competitions, corporate events, etc. That gave me great platform to concentrate on my dance and make a future ahead with it.
