Good Afternoon Choir & Black Sheep Harmony

The Keynsham Good Afternoon Choir rehearse every Wednesday afternoon at Keynsham Methodist Church / Victoria Centre from 2.00-4.00pm. Grenville Jones, the founder of the Good Afternoon Choirs, is delighted that John Hare is taking over as the leader of the Bath Good Afternoon Choir. John Hare is a musician and performer specialising in piano and trumpet. Having spent 20 years as a music teacher, he now works as a freelance session musician playing at festivals and gigs across the UK and Europe. John’s first love was classical music and he still enjoys playing classical repertoire but he now spends most of his time playing folk, rock and musical theatre. This year they are joined by Black Sheep Harmony. Black Sheep Harmony is an award winning amateur group of approx thirty women of all ages and walks of life. We formed in May 2012 and perform in many events across the South West from weddings, concerts, funerals, WI meetings, music festivals and occasionally can be heard live on the radio.

The Memory Kafe

We welcome back this very special festival which is held before the busy weekend of the main festival for members of the community & their families living with Dementia. This is a chance for those unable to attend the main festival, together with their carers, to experience their very own mini festival in a safe and supportive environment. There will be circus performances, musicians and sing-a-longs.
